Built as a tribute to the beautiful city of Bengaluru, the hotel takes its inspiration from the surrounding lush gardens and verdant foliage..

Influenced by the garden city, the décor, textile and furniture – everything on display is in the shade of either green, beige or peacock blue. .

The exterior of the hotel designed by Francesca Basu, uses Gwalior sandstone and Malaysian red bricks, interspersed by panels of specially treated smoked oak and highlighted with strips of copper in a matt copper-sulphate patina. .

The gracious multi-columned Lotus Pavilion, inspired by Tipu Sultan’s palace at Srirangapatna, adds a touch of heritage for today’s global traveller. .

The elevators inside the hotel have their walls adorned with pictures and scenes of gardens, pools, etc..

The multi-pillared Lotus Pavilion, inspired by Tipu Sultan’s summer palace at Srirangapatna , displays sloping roofs covered with a lawn of fresh green grass aptly referred to as a ‘Living Room with a Living Roof’. .

All the suites in the hotel are named after birds like the Pelican Suite and the Peacock Suite in keeping with the garden theme..

The hotel has one of the best restaurants in the city ranging from the Japanese restaurant, Edo, to the West View - the city’s first sky lit all day dining restaurant..
